Kartons, Umzüge und dieses kleine Chaos dazwischen
Neulich stand ich im Flur. Zwischen mir: ein Stapel Kartons, alle gleich, alle braun. Und doch – jeder Karton erzählte schon eine eigene Geschichte. Ehrlich gesagt, wer schon mal umgezogen ist, weiß: so ein Pappkarton ist mehr als nur eine Box. Er ist Rettungsanker, Gedächtnis, manchmal sogar Sofa-Ersatz. Ja, wirklich.
Unsere Firma hat irgendwann gemerkt: Leute brauchen keine High-Tech-Kisten aus Aluminium. Sie brauchen stabile, schlichte Kartons, die alles mitmachen. Einmal Bücher, einmal Gläser, einmal die verstaubte Spielesammlung, die keiner je benutzt hat. Mal unter uns: in den besten Momenten tragen Kartons mehr Emotionen als Möbelstücke.
Natürlich geht es um Transport. Um Logistik, um Effizienz. Aber, Hand aufs Herz, es geht auch um dieses Gefühl von „alles sicher“. Dass nichts kaputtgeht, dass alles am Ziel so ankommt, wie man es eingepackt hat. Und während andere in Verträgen oder Bonusbedingungen Casino verstrickt sind, sitzen wir lieber zwischen Papier, Klebeband und dem Geruch von frischem Karton. Klingt langweilig? Ist es nicht.
Ich erinnere mich an einen Kunden, der seine halbe Schallplattensammlung verpackt hat. Jede Platte fein säuberlich, Karton an Karton, und am Ende stand er da wie ein stolzer Dirigent, der sein Werk abgeschlossen hat. Solche Szenen sind es, die unsere Arbeit lebendig machen.
Also ja: Wir stellen Kartons her. Aber eigentlich liefern wir Geschichten, Erinnerungen und dieses kleine bisschen Sicherheit, das man spürt, wenn der Deckel zugeklappt wird. Und genau das – das ist der wahre Bonus.
